Terms, Conditions & Liability Notice


The Wheal™ Active Workstation Desk Bike is intended for light domestic indoor use only. By assembling, using, or permitting use of this product, the user acknowledges and agrees to the following terms and conditions.

1. Use at Your Own Risk

Use of the Wheal™ is undertaken entirely at the user’s own risk. Users are responsible for ensuring the product is assembled, adjusted, operated, and maintained correctly in accordance with this manual.

Failure to follow instructions, warnings, or safety guidance may result in injury, damage, or accident.


2. Intended Use

The Wheal™ is designed solely for personal indoor workstation use within the stated product limitations.

The product must not be used:

  • For commercial gym or professional fitness use
  • For medical or rehabilitation purposes
  • By more than one person at a time
  • By children without adult supervision
  • In wet, unstable, or outdoor environments
  • In any manner inconsistent with the instructions provided

3. User Responsibility

Users are responsible for:

  • Inspecting the product before each use
  • Ensuring all bolts, knobs, pedals, and components are securely tightened
  • Using the product safely and sensibly
  • Maintaining proper balance and posture during use
  • Discontinuing use immediately if discomfort, instability, dizziness, or mechanical issues occur
  • Keeping children and pets away from moving components

Users should seek professional medical advice before use if they have any existing medical, cardiovascular, circulatory, mobility, or balance-related conditions.


4. No Medical Claims

Wheal™ is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition.

Any references to posture, circulation, movement, wellbeing, comfort, or productivity are provided for general informational purposes only and should not be interpreted as medical advice or guaranteed outcomes.


5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the manufacturer, distributor, retailer, brand owner, affiliates, and associated parties shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, damage, cost, claim, or expense arising directly or indirectly from:

  • Improper assembly
  • Incorrect or unsafe use
  • Failure to follow instructions or warnings
  • Product modification or unauthorised repairs
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Use outside intended purpose
  • Failure to maintain or inspect the product
  • Use on uneven or unstable surfaces
  • Excessive force or misuse
  • Third-party modifications or attachments

Nothing in this disclaimer excludes liability where exclusion is prohibited under applicable law.


6. Product Modifications

Users must not modify, alter, dismantle, or adapt the Wheal™ in any way not expressly authorised by the manufacturer.

Unauthorised modifications may compromise safety and immediately void any applicable warranty or support obligations.


7. Maintenance & Inspection

Routine maintenance and regular inspection are essential for safe operation.

The user is solely responsible for ensuring the product remains in safe working condition.

Any damaged, worn, loose, or defective parts must be replaced before further use.


8. Electronic Components & Batteries

The user is responsible for correct battery installation and safe handling of electronic components.

Do not expose electronic parts to moisture, excessive heat, or direct sunlight.


9. Intellectual Property

All branding, product names, designs, manuals, graphics, and associated materials relating to Wheal™ remain the intellectual property of their respective owners and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without written permission.


10. Acceptance of Terms

By assembling or using the Wheal™, the user confirms they have read, understood, and accepted these terms, warnings, and safety conditions in full.

Failure to read the manual does not remove the user’s responsibility to operate the product safely and correctly.
